Ryan A. Lawrence is a 4th Generation Idahoan and Resident of Clearwater County. Born to parents Earl and Sandy Lawrence Ryan learned the value of hard work growing up on the family farm. He spent countless hours on the tractor or with the cattle after school to assist his father and grandfather, Albert Lawrence, to ensure the farm’s success. Ryan went to Kendrick High School in Kendrick, Idaho where he emerged as a leader among his peers. As a high school student Ryan championed multiple campaigns to improve Kendrick High School and the Community of Kendrick. He was elected Associated Student Body President at Kendrick his senior year and graduated in 2015. Growing up Ryan was very involved in his church and continues to play a role not only in the local church but at the Synod level as well for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Ryan went on to attend Boise State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science as well as certificate degrees in Leadership/Human Relations and Dispute Resolution. Following graduation from Boise State Ryan went on to attend law school at the Univeristy of Idaho and graduated in May of 2023 and plans to open his own firm in north-central Idaho. In 2020 Ryan and his brother Brian Lawrence bought the family farm and ranch from their parents. Ryan has also interned for various officials in government including Representative Caroline Troy, Senator Jim Rice, (Former) Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter, and United States Senator Mike D. Crapo. Through this experience Ryan has been able to increase his level of knowledge of how the government works as well as where the government could be improved to better serve the people
