The Kendrick School District provided a solid foundation for me to jumpstart my academic career. During my tenure at the school, the school board and the community demanded high quality administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure that, we, the students received the best education we could.

While the districts motto is “preparing today’s students for the challenges of tomorrow” The district has fallen from that high standard. School District facilities have been plagued with years of deferred maintenance causing them to crumble, and high quality staff and faculty are leaving the community due to lower compensation and frustration with the administration.

It is time that we work together, as a collaborative body and community to bring all the stakeholders together and revitalize the district into the academic powerhouse we experienced when we were students.

I ask that in November, you vote for me, Ryan Lawrence, as a voice for change, improvement, and a return to preparing today’s students for the challenges of tomorrow.
